Cellars, forts, quarries, forest trails, listed buildings with thick walls: many venues have no coverage. MyInfoMate offline mode downloads the visit at the entrance, then works with no 4G and no Wi-Fi.

Beacons to find your way without GPS
Underground, GPS is gone too. BLE beacons placed in the spaces detect the visitor coming closer and trigger the right content.
QR codes as a safety net
A QR code at each point of interest opens the right entry directly. It is the fallback that always works, even when a visitor arrives from another direction.
Fort de Saint-Héribert, 100% offline
An underground fort where Wi-Fi is simply impossible in the galleries. The iOS and Android app has run fully offline there since 2023: content downloaded at the entrance, iBeacon beacons in the galleries, QR codes and an audio guide.

Does the visitor have to download anything before arriving?

No, it can be done on site: the download starts at the entrance, where there is still coverage or a welcome Wi-Fi. Making sure that one spot has a decent connection is the only real prerequisite of an offline deployment.
What works offline, and what does not?

Downloaded content — texts, images, audio, trails, quizzes — works with no connection. What needs the network: the AI assistant, content updates published in the meantime, and sending statistics, which go out at the next connection.
Do we have to install beacons?

Not necessarily. QR codes are enough to trigger content, and geolocation is enough outdoors. BLE beacons add automatic triggering where GPS does not reach, typically indoors or underground.
From which plan is offline mode included?

From the Pro plan, at €99/month excluding VAT, together with your branded mobile app and BLE beacons. Offline mode requires an installed app: it does not apply to the web app of the Essential plan.
